GVMS & GMRs
The Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS) was introduced on January 1st and is required for all shipments into and out of the UK at all the ports which are operating the pre-lodgement model. This has been designed to maintain flow at high volume RoRo traffic sites like Dover.
A Goods Movement Ference (GMR) will need to be presented at the place of exit in the EU or the UK by the driver to enable them to board the ferry. ACT are registered with GVMS to help guide you through this process and help prevent delays.

Import GMR
Created using the Import Entry Number (ERN) from one of our own entries or one supplied from elsewhere
Export GMR
Created using the DUCR from an export declaration (EAD), we can get a GMR created promptly and get your drivers on the road
