Ebbsfleet, North Weald and Warrington Inland Border Facilities (IBFs) will be closed from 00:01 16 August until 23:59 19 August 2022 UK time.
Following the recent announcement (16 June 2022) that the Dover Inland Border Facility will no longer be built, Sevington will be the main strategic site to support customs controls for the Short Straits.
HMRC will be completing some additional testing at Sevington to maximise the capability of the site and identify any further enhancements to streamline operations for customers using the facility
If you need to attend an IBF during these periods, you must attend either Sevington or Holyhead IBF:
• Sevington IBF, Ashford, TN25 6GE
• Holyhead IBF, Parc Cybi, A55 Junction 2, Holyhead, LL65 2YQ
If you attempt to attend an IBF that is closed during this period, you will be redirected to Sevington or Holyhead IBFs.
Dover Western Docks and Stop 24 will remain open throughout this period, but HMRC services will not be available at these locations.
As is currently the case, live animals cannot be accepted at Sevington IBF. For any vehicles requiring customs processes relating to live animals in the South East, you will need to attend (as you do now) either:
• Dover Western Docks, Freight Clearance Centre, Cruise Terminal 1, Lord Warden Square, Dover CT17 9DH
• Stop 24, Folkestone Services, Junction 11, M20, Hythe, Kent, CT21 4BL
